For two weekends only, delve deep into the murky territory of female desire and its many distortions.
Everything is Hungry explores hungers that become sexualized, demonized and exoticized in the female sexual body. It follows three women who pass through the same whorehouse. Everything is Hungry uses postmodern dance, butoh, and texts by Heiner M Kathy Acker and Nawal El Saadawi to illuminate the women's struggle to separate their true hungers from those which have been projected onto them. The result is sometimes terrifying, sometimes enlightening, and always piercingly honest.
"Smell these papers. They remind me of you, of all of you. What I learned today: the leftover whore bodies in prison are used to make new paper. National paper. That's why all the school children eat paper! We never knew! We never knew! We never knew! We never knew! I am writing today to tell you what I dreamed this morning: we were all sucking mother's milk. We were only 3.

And I asked her what the earth was like deep inside, inside all the darkness and subterranean sky. She smiled and said that worms governed the lives of the dead that the earth was dark and bony and that for those who die happy it is sweet and tender. Your mothers did eat manna. Your mothers did eat manna and are dead." -Louise, Everything is Hungry
