In Anytown, USA, four homophobic best friends, work and play together. The alpha male, Michael, finds out that his brother is coming back home, after 10 years.  What he doesn’t know yet is why his brother left in the first place.  What ensues is touching, hilarious, sometimes violent, and introspective.  Nine actors, gay, straight, transgender, black, white, take on these roles in riveting performances to get across the message that we ARE all just works in progress.

Written and directed by denise ‘Mistah’ Coles, produced by Ms Mistah Productions in association with WOW Cafe Theater, the cast includes Shena Allen, Rhonesha Castro, Jessica Cermak, Rodrick Dwight Colbert, Moira Cutler, Lu Michaels, Andre LaMar Reliford, Jo A. Roberson, and Natasha Tori. Stage managed by Velvet Toi.

If we can’t step outside of ourselves, and try to understand our oppressors, and detractors, how can we ever achieve the harmony, and acceptance we desire?  If our detractors and oppressors don’t comprehend what we go through, how can they begin to broach that wide gap?
