Part III of the show is called A Total Eclipse of Doom
The characters of a Doomsday Meditation, Ms. Brooks, Mx. Brooks, and Nurse Ferninand, welcome all humans left on earth to say, bye-bye bye to AI and the neighborhood cockroaches, and “hello” to a funhouse of life, emphasis on fun, at The Cave. Join them as they search for meaning through post-apocalyptic nightlife.
An immersive experience featuring you! Connect with other humans and have your fortune told, share a poem or a thought during the open mic, or sing along to bad (but sooo… so good) karaoke. You decide. But don’t be late. This show, like the apocalypse, won’t wait.
Doors close 10 min past the hour. If you arrive more than 10 min late, we will honor your ticket for the next available show unless the show is sold out.
Parts I and II (played in 2023 and 2022)
A dark comedy about a post-apocalyptic odd thrupple in search of each other and humanity.
In Part 1: The Plague, foodie and uber-planner Ms. Brooks, and vegan artist Mx. Brooks find themselves stuck in a Quarantine Hotel, cut off from their best-laid plans and the strange and dramatic events happening beyond the hotel’s walls. The only human interaction the reluctant hotel “guests” can rely on is the routine daily check-up with Nurse Vesper Ferdinand, a non-binary poet and cat-parent who -dreams of a life beyond the Earth’s atmosphere.
In Part 2: The Apocalypse
Strangers Ms. and Mx. Brooks emerge from the Quarantine Hotel to discover an abundant, but bleak hyper-commercial world. Together, they set-off to find Nurse Ferdinand and traces of the world they knew. Meanwhile, Nurse Ferdinand embarks on a quest to find their beloved furry-baby, Orion.
