Come share your thoughts to help the playwright realize her vision. A staged reading of 1969 by playwright Barbara White Morgan, with Director Kim Weston-Moran and Dramaturg Karimah. Featuring Jalessa Capri, Gregory Bastian, Keith Trent, Deidre Benton, Lamar K. Cheston, Lisa Campbell, and as narrator, Kim Gardner.

It’s the late 1960’s and passions are fueled by a potentially deadly confrontation between a Black revolutionary, a successful Black businessman and his socialite wife.

Part II of the 8th POTPOURRI!! World Women Works Series. Further development of plays by Global Women Playwrights and Screenwriters. A professional director and professional actors bring a staged reading of a work in development, for commentary, support, and critique from a dramaturg and from the audience. Be part of the process of bringing works by global women to audiences.
