A Reading of “What’s Up My Madibaz!”

Getting Rid of the ‘N’ Word

A Reading/Viewing and Discussion
Thursday, October 5, 2017
6pm
Tickets are free, but a suggested donation of $5 is appreciated.

Written/directed by denise ‘Mistah’ Coles

Starring Lisa Lee, Cesar Ramos, Simba Yangala

Original music/lyrics by Quinn Lee/Mistah Coles

In a concerted effort to get rid of the ‘N’ word and replace it with the ‘M’ word, I’ve written a short screenplay, “What’s Up My Madibaz”, to be released this year.

On Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 6pm, you are invited to view a staged reading, with the actors, and participate in a discussion afterwards.  Although the film is geared toward our youth, we invite everyone to weigh in and help make this change.  Teachers, youth organizations, churches, even prisons can help, and benefit from this.  Please put it on your calendar.  Admission is free, but we welcome a donation of $5 or more to defray costs of making the film and distributing it.  If you’d like a free copy for your organization, please sign our request sheet at the benefit. If you can’t make it to the benefit or would like more information, write info@msmistahproductions.com
