Ever wonder how groups of artists pull off big projects, like theatre, tours, magazines, or art shows? In this participatory workshop, you’ll explore, learn from others, and imagine better real-life ways to work — with the goal of being able to more sustainably live your values in a creative practice. This two hour workshop is for artists, theater makers and creatives who have activist, socially conscious, inter-sectional, or community-based practices, both from the WOW community + the public. You don’t have to be a “full time artist” (whatever that means) to come!
ABOUT THE TEACHER: Hadassah Damien is a queer artist and Brooklyn-based educator. She founded Ride Free Fearless Money, an iconoclastic blog and financial literacy project in 2015 (which operates exclusively via sliding scale!) to stabilize creative and progressive communities by empowering folks’ relationship to their money, help people hack capitalism, and give people time and energy back from stressing about finances!
