Good Grief: healing art open workshop mic

7/23 @wow.cafe 5-10pm, created & hosted by Joi Sanchez (@TheNotoriousRBJ) #GoodGriefMic an experiment in healing individual & collective grief by using art & creative expression as tools for radical growth within us and essentially the world.

All are welcome to sign up for 5-8 mins of expression time on stage. List closes at 7:45pm, mic starts at 5:30 and we go until the list is exhausted. Sometimes we’ll have some invited artists do a set.

Because we know that grief is also held in the body; between 8-8:30, we transition into a feel good dance party led by resident DJ @hey_leonex to shake out and truly release the grief from our bodies as well as spirits this making space for the new and the good to come in to our being.
