“Hello,” a short play for actor and laptop by Cate Wiley.  Four minutes in duration, a journey from isolation to community.

Live performance has almost disappeared from NYC but it’s not gone yet.

On October 3rd, groups on East 4th Street created an amazing array of pop up live performance events, all safe and socially distanced,  on stoops, fire escapes, windows, and sidewalks.

On Saturday, November 14th from 12 – 5 pm, we’re going to do it again! And we’re being joined by others beyond 4th Street (see list below).

FAB will be on East 4th Street with brief performances by Urban Bush Women and DJ Yana Allpa of Cuchara de Palo NYC, who draws from indigenous Andean sounds. We’ll also have Who Got You Though 2020?, a public shout-out & gratitude project. Meet up with us in front of 70 East 4th Street from 12 – 5pm.

All these pop-up activities are here to remind us that there are ways to be safe and still have live performance… Truly, there are #morewaysthanbroadways.
