Earth Science (Back to School) !
We love celebrating back to school with a little lesson, and this season we are going to learn about botany. Like did you know that bananas contain a natural chemical which can make people feel happy? Or that during the 1600s, tulips were so valuable in Holland that their bulbs were worth more than gold.
The craze was called tulip mania, or tulipomania, and caused the crash of the Dutch economy. Tulips can continue to grow as much as an inch per day after being cut.
Pretty interesting right? I thought so too. So grab a banana or a tulip or a loved one and let’s come together to learn more and on Saturday we will teach you visually. Which is such a lovely way to learn. xoxo
