MPTP Presents Woman's Month - One Woman Show Series: In 1968 while at the height of her career as a world renowned entertainer, Eartha Kitt was also working as one of the main lobbyist for a group of young activists called the Rebels With A Cause. After speaking out against the Vietnam War at a White House luncheon, she was blacklisted from working in the U.S. by order of President Lyndon Johnson for the following 10 years! In one act filled with drama and music, this play explores Eartha Kitt's personal re-encounter of that fateful day, and delves into her personal journey back to her power and freedom.

The Dare Tactic presents Cátia Sofia Cunha's "Dark Down Deep", directed by Vinny Eden Ortega, telling the story of a lovesick sea monster who drains the ocean to keep from killing her crush, causing herself and her brethren to become trapped in the statues of a subway station.
